I am an experienced volunteer leader, who is passionate about our Harbour Square community.

Issues

​Unlike previous campaign years, there is not a specific hazard or an immenant crisis we are facing. We are in a better place financially and governance-wise than ever before. Instead, our biggest challenge is sustaining a well-functioning Board who, together with our incredible staff, is unified in strategy and well equipped to handle the unknown or unexpected things when they do come upon us.
I fully support all current and returning Directors and will work collaboratively with them to maintain this positive forward momentum Harbour Square is experiencing. 
We are always better together than when we are divided.

Stability

The board needs to provide Stability so our staff can do their best work for our community.

Collaboration

A successful board welcomes diversity of perspectives; a successful director supports collaborative decision-making.

Communication

We must always do better communicating and letting all voices be heard.
​(not just the loudest ones).

Leadership Pipeline

We need a deeper bench.
​we must nurture and encourage more residents to give their time through board and committee service.

Official Candidates

I fully support each of the four declared candidates and the existing Board as a whole. I understand the chaos that they deal with every week. I appreciate their time, their service, and their shared commitment to Harbour Square.  I will work collaboratively with them to maintain our community's positive forward momentum.

By-law amendents

In addition to voting for candidates, we are also voting on eight by-law amendments.
I support approving all of the amendments.
